Event Details
In the last two weeks, Adobe has made two significant announcements:
1) Adobe will no longer continue developing the Flash player for mobile devices
2) Adobe is giving Flex to the Apache Foundation
To some this might sound like Adobe has thrown in the towel. To others, it might sound like Adobe is no longer giving respect to the Flex SDK and just trying to wash it's hands of the situations.
The whole discussion could not be further from the truth. Adobe is giving us the SDK, engineers, and support to improve Flex as a community.
If you're curious what this means for you, your customers, and the future of Flex and AIR, come to our user group on Wednesday, 11/30, at 5:30pm to eat some pizza, drink some beer, and discuss!
